He Saved My Life
Story 176
Elizabeth Naylor woke up in the middle of the night and knew something was wrong. One week after her mammogram, the news of stage three breast cancer hung heavy in the air. With the loving care she received from her Oncologist, Ethan Schram, MD, and the associates at Adventist Health St. Helena, Elizabeth's fear soon turned into peace. Following her first day of treatment, she resolved to view each upcoming appointment as a step closer to overcoming cancer. Both Elizabeth and the Adventist Health St. Helena associates began to look forward to treatments as they built meaningful relationships and looked forward to seeing what quirky hat or sunglasses she would arrive in that day.
Her final day of therapy marked a milestone she would forever cherish. While the treatment and care provided by Adventist Health saved her life, it was her resilient mindset that sustained her each day. Elizabeth shares she is not only a breast cancer survivor, she is thriving.
Watch Elizabeth's inspiring journey as she transforms fear into peace and joy.
