COMPASS Street Medicine: Community Integrated
Story 160
The Adventist Health Ukiah Valley COMPASS Street Medicine team brings preventive and urgent care medicine to the most vulnerable members of their community — the unhoused population.
Street Medicine in Mendocino County is a collaborative effort between Adventist Health's COMPASS Street Medicine team, several local community service providers, and the Building Bridges Shelter. Adventist Health values this community-embedded healthcare delivery model that provides care far beyond hospital walls and across Mendocino County, uniquely tailored to the needs of the rural community.
